Collection: Seto Incense Tray

The Seto porcelain tray is specailly crafted for the Hibi incense burning pad.

Seto is one of oldest kilns in Japan, with a rich history that dated back to the 13^th century in making the exquisite “setomono” glaze wares. Seto wares are often cherished for tea ceremonies and dining, and sought after by collectors.

In collaboration with local artisans, Hibi introduces the green Oribe and yellow Kiseto incense trays, celebrated for their simple, rustic charm. Lighting a Hibi 10-minute aroma on the Seto tray allows one to experience a harmonious blend of three traditional Japanese arts: incense making, matchstick crafting, and pottery.
